Senior Graphic Designer & Brand Visual Lead

As we continue to grow globally, we are building a Creative Studio that can express the world of RIXO with confidence, warmth and consistency across every touchpoint. This role sits at the heart of that world-building.
THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Senior/Heavy weight Graphic Designer to lead the evolution and execution of RIXO’s visual identity. This is a hands-on craft-first design role, responsible for ensuring our visual output feels distinct, recognisable and emotionally resonant - from campaign storytelling and digital layouts to packaging, print and physical retail experiences.
You’ll partner day-to-day with the Head of Creative & Brand Marketing to bring creative concepts and seasonal narratives to life. You’ll also collaborate directly with the Creative Director for aesthetic alignment and final sign-off.
You are not just making “assets” - you are shaping a cohesive visual universe.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand Visual Identity
- Own and evolve the RIXO graphic identity - typography, layout systems, image treatment, colour direction.
- Create and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistent application across internal and external teams.
- Build scalable template systems for digital, campaign and print use.
Campaign & Editorial Expression
- Translate seasonal brand stories and creative direction into visual worlds and rollouts.
- Create campaign moodboards, graphic storytelling frameworks, titles, typography treatments.
- Support on art direction across campaign and editorial shoots (optional to lead over time).
Digital & Social Design
- Design digital-first assets across email, paid social, organic social, web modules and storytelling moments.
- Ensure all digital outputs feel elevated, human and commercially effective.
- Shape the graphic rhythm and tone of our social & campaign approach.
Print, Packaging & Retail
- Design printed brand materials including invites, booklets, window vinyls, POS, swing tags and packaging.
- Collaborate with VM and retail teams to ensure the brand world is cohesive across physical environments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with:
- Head of Creative & Brand Marketing on story, narrative and campaign rollout.
- Creative Director for vision, refinement and approval.
- Brand Manager on messaging alignment.
- Asset Production Manager on delivery workflow and timelines.
- Manage and brief freelance designers or creative partners when needed.
WHO YOU ARE
- A craft-obsessed designer with strong typography, layout and editorial sensibility.
- Confident leading visual direction, but equally happy to be hands-on in Adobe daily.
- You understand emotional tone - not just design mechanics.
- You can translate loose inspiration into clear, ownable graphic language.
- Calm, collaborative, thoughtful communicator.
- You get the RIXO energy - not loud, not forced - warm, instinctive, expressive.
EXPERIENCE
- 6+ years experience in graphic design / brand design within fashion, lifestyle, creative or cultural brands (in-house or agency).
- A portfolio that demonstrates:
- Visual identity systems that hold together
- Beautiful typography and editorial composition
- Campaign or art direction sensibility
- Digital + print versatility
- Proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma.
